How and Why
We believe that a “church” is people, not the building they are in. Worship is something we do together rather than something that is done for us. Our worship blends traditional and contemporary elements. We include a special time just for children before the younger ones go to Children’s Church. We read scripture together and the sermon is biblically based. Our music, prayers, and litanies encourage everyone of all ages to participate fully and equally. Everyone is welcome!

What to Expect

We unite in worship. You find all sorts of people here, conservative/liberal, young/old, and contemporary/traditional. No matter who you are, we worship together. Some of us dress casually, while others wear formal attire. You are always welcome here and will be cared for by people who are friendly, unassuming, and genuinely happy to see you.

Children

WE LOVE KIDS!
We welcome ALL children to worship with us. We like to say that “healthy churches have teething-marks on the back of their pews.” Kids up through Elementary ages are invited to participate in a “children’s story” up front, early in the service. After their story, the younger children may choose to go to Children’s Church. A sound-proof “cry room” is available in the balcony for the benefit of distressed infants (and their parents/care-takers). Our Nursery is available for infants through preschool-ages during worship and Sunday School. |
Accessibility
Our facility is fully wheel chair and other mobility device accessible! Areas are also provided in the sanctuary to accommodate your devices during worship! These areas are in the middle of the room as well as the back and front.
Large-print hymnals and bulletins are provided, as well as head-sets for the hearing impaired.
