Mandy North, Lead Pastor

Picture
Rev. North was called to full-time service as Lead Pastor in November of 2017. She brings a capable, compassionate mixture of gifts to her work in ministry.

Mandy has a passion for the faith formation of youth and young adults as they recognize, explore, and strengthen their relationship with God in Christ. She has worked as a volunteer with our youth and children ministries since 2007 and as Coordinator of Youth Ministries (part-time, 2008-2009) and Coordinator of Special Ministries (part-time, 2010-2011).

She served as interim pastor at Nokesville Church of the Brethren (part-time, 2014-2015). She has been an active leader in district youth events and in 2014 she authored the junior high youth lesson plans for Shine — the children’s and youth curriculum published by Brethren Press and MennoMedia.

Mandy received her Master of Arts in Christian Education from Union Presbyterian Seminary (2013), her Bachelors of Science from Bridgewater College (2002)

Employment gave him 35 years’ experience in new home and office construction, as a brick mason and foreman.
